Partnerships

Joining forces to map the world with precision

The Earth is vast, its terrains diverse — and then there is water, the true ruler of our surface. To serve both entrepreneurs and the planet effectively, collaboration is essential: beyond flying high, one must also dive deep. That’s why Fototerra builds alliances with companies that share the same commitment to innovation, technical excellence, and the advancement of geotechnologies. More than collaboration, these are strategic connections that expand our ability to deliver integrated solutions on a global scale, with precise action across Brazilian territory.

Fototerra + Sonomatic: underwater inspection technology

In partnership with Sonomatic, an international leader in subsea industrial inspection and non-destructive testing, Fototerra established a joint venture to operate in the oil and gas sector. With units in Brazil and an R&D center in Salvador (Bahia), the operation offers advanced offshore structural integrity services, including robotic inspection of hulls, tanks, and risers.

The combination of Fototerra’s geotechnology expertise and Sonomatic’s technical strength delivers specialized solutions tailored to the needs of the Brazilian energy market.

Fototerra + Moya Aero: aerial intelligence for the mapping of the future

Our partnership with Moya Aero includes the acquisition of 10 eVTOLs — electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft — expected to enter operation in 2026. This collaboration aims to expand our capabilities in digital aerial photogrammetry, LiDAR, and hyperspectral sensing with logistical efficiency, technical precision, and environmental sustainability.

The eVTOLs will be configured for advanced geospatial missions, including environmental monitoring and precision agriculture, combining Fototerra’s expertise with Moya’s cutting-edge technology.
