Commitment to innovation
Throughout our journey, we have maintained a focus on integrated solutions and cutting-edge technology, establishing strategic partnerships, continuously training our team, and responding swiftly to the demands of a constantly evolving market. More than following trends, we anticipate the future of geospatial technology, providing intelligence applied to the territory — from the very beginning.

History
Our History
If every story is a journey, and every journey is a path, ours has been built across many horizons. Founded in 1993, Fototerra was created to bring the most advanced geospatial technologies to the Brazilian market. From the start, the company stood out by establishing international partnerships and continuously investing in the technical and human resources needed to stay at the forefront.

Pioneering in Latin America
From the very beginning, we evolved rapidly — and aimed high. In 2004, Fototerra became the first company in Latin America to operate a large-format digital camera, setting a new benchmark for high-precision aerial imagery. In 2005, we conducted flights covering approximately 6,000 km² across major Brazilian cities, producing 1:2000 scale mappings.
In the same year, we started operations in Chile, using two medium-format digital cameras coupled with a high-resolution LiDAR system — a solution widely applied in reforestation and environmental monitoring projects.
